Hey Bethel Park Basketball fans!
This weekend kicked off the season for Bethel Park Boys Basketball with their Tip Off Tournament. They hosted Thomas Jefferson, Obama, and Butler to play in their state of the art gym they recently have had built. Bethel Park hosted Thomas Jefferson on December 7th, 2012 and took an early lead and never look back. The moved on in their own tournament with a 61-38 win over the Jaguars. The Hawks moved on to take on Obama who moved past the Butler Tornadoes in the 2nd game on December 7th and would take on the Hawks in a Championship showdown on December 8th. The Hawks used this game to prove they are ready to become a staple this year in WPIAL basketball and move deep into the season with a strong group of starters and a great bench. They finished off the Obama Eagles with a final score of 64-47. Make sure to check out all of their highlights below as well as the awards ceremony which can be seen at the end of the video:
